Modular system
For each specific situation has developed a program of suction dredgers, air-lift dredgers, booster stations and soil pressure systems, designed for modular construction. This modular design for the large components (such as pontoons and power supply) maximizes the flexibility and minimizes the costs. Within this modular system different configurations can be realised. For example: the small mobile suction dredgers can be mounted or dismounted within only 10 working hours.Hightech computer control
All our dredgers are equipped with computer control, with the latest technology for positioning, handling and extraction control. An optional satellite-supported dGPS navigation system can additionally be installed for an exact and reproducible positioning.Three different drives for dredgers
Depending on the situation, we can offer three different drives:- – Direct diesel drive of the dredgers
- – Diesel/electric drive: all pumps powered by one diesel generator on board
- – Fully electric drive with energy supply from the shore
The fully electric driven system complies with the strictest environmental standards with regard to sound insulation, emissions and water pollution. The energy for stationary suction dredgers can be supplied with the aid of the energy net ashore. The energy supply for mobile dredgers can be supplied by a generator, located in a sound insulated container ashore. Frequency control All our electric dredgers are equipped with frequency control. Therefore it is possible to power the pumps at constant speed, using a generator or the energy net, whereby the speed of single pumps can vary.
Tailor-made design Booster Stations
HDD booster stations can be supplied for our complete dredger range. They are designed to be built into a sound proof container with the pump casing on the outside of the container. This ensures that the inside of the container will not be polluted with sand in case of the pump casing breaking down.Complete range
The pump gamma comprises high and low pressure pumps for sand and gravel with quantity capacities of 700 up to 10,000 m3/h, available in underwater or surface design. The underwater pump is available with an electric or hydraulic drive. We are specialized in pumps which are mainly required for special soils as well as big pumps for highest extraction quantities. These are available with clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The pumps can also be delivered with a gearbox, a combination of a bearing block, pedestal and reduction gears as an extra option. Of course we always give priority to the mechanical safety. We only use the most wear resistant materials to ensure no breakage during operations. We also offer a complete range of dredge pump options. Our pumps meet the strictest environmental standards, are leak safe and produce low noise (<80 db />A). Of course we can also offer loose pump sets, as well as oil free electric underwater drives. All pumps are subjected to thorough function tests prior to delivery to guarantee the required pump performances. Other options are available on request. We will be glad to give you a solid advise which pump is best suited for your situation.
